Instructions for using OBD Fusion with OBDCheck BLE on Android

Step 1

Locate the OBD II Port in Your Car

Find the OBD II port in your vehicle. It is typically located under the dashboard near the driver's seat.

Step 2

Insert OBDCheck BLE into the OBD II Port

Plug the OBDCheck BLE device into your car's OBD II port. You should see a blue power indicator light up. If the light does not turn on, remove the OBDCheck BLE and reinsert it firmly into the OBD II port.

Step 3

Download OBD Fusion from the Google Play

Search for "OBD Fusion" in the Google Play and download the application.

Step 4

Pair Your Phone with OBDCheck BLE via Bluetooth

Go to the "Settings" menu on your phone and open the Bluetooth settings. Depending on your device, this might be labelled as “Bluetooth” or “Connected Device” on some Android versions. Enable Bluetooth and select "Pair New Device." Find the Bluetooth device named “VEEPEAK” and tap to pair. When prompted, enter the PIN code “1234.” Once paired, you will see “VEEPEAK” listed under "saved,""paired," or "Previously Connected" devices.

Step 5

Configuring the OBD Fusion App

Open the OBD Fusion app. In the main interface of the app, tap on "Settings".
Select "Preferences".
Under the “Communications” section, choose “Communication Type” and select “Bluetooth”. Tap on “Bluetooth Name” and select the “VEEPEAK” device from the list.
Go back to the previous menu and tap on “Vehicle Setup” to enter the specific details of your vehicle.

Step 6

Connect the App to Your Vehicle

Return to the home screen and tap "Connect" at the bottom of the page. The initial connection might take longer, so please be patient. If the connection fails, try reconnecting.

Step 7

Start Monitoring and Diagnostics

The app will automatically connect to the OBDCheck BLE and start reading real-time data from the vehicle. You can view various dashboards, live data streams, trouble codes, and other diagnostic information.
